Piezoelectric Nano Translation Stages
Piezoelectric nano platform is a motorized displacement table driven by a piezoelectric motor, it is different from the traditional stepper motor, linear motor, electromagnetic motor and other driving forms. A Piezoelectric motor is based on the principle of inverse piezoelectric effect, which is caused deformation by the piezoelectric ceramics under electric field (usually in resonance state) , the friction coupling drives the movement of active cell, thus this drives the precise position movement of the platform. The Piezoelectric nano platform is self-locking when the power is off, so that it does not consume energy or heat, holding the stability of the mechanical position.
