Compared with Plate Beamsplitters, the optical paths of the reflection and transmission of cube beamsplitters are equal. When transmitting, the light will pass through the cube beamsplitter directly when transmitted and have no affect on beam deviation to the cube beamsplitter. Cube beamsplitters are ideal for the application of energy splitting and insensitive polarization. The energy is not absorbed as the coating is all dielectric. Please note that the beam splitting coating has a certain polarization effect itself so that the emitted light is partially polarized.
